Research & Highlight Organizer helps users save selected text and web pages into a personal research library.
Saved text, notes, page URLs, titles, folders, favorites and related information are stored locally in Chrome on the user's device and are not uploaded to the Research Organizer backend.
The extension accesses ordinary web pages only to let users save selected text or page links and return to saved sources. It does not collect browsing history for advertising or profiling.
If a user chooses Google sign-in, Google provides an account identifier and email address used only for authentication and subscription access. Google access tokens are used only to verify identity and are not stored by the Research Organizer backend.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Research Organizer does not receive or store full payment card numbers. The backend may store subscription identifiers, customer and order identifiers, plan or variant information, subscription status, renewal or end dates, and payment-event status to manage paid access.
Google is used for authentication, Lemon Squeezy for checkout, billing and subscription management, and Cloudflare for backend hosting and account/subscription records.
We do not sell user data or use it for advertising, creditworthiness, lending or unrelated purposes.
Saved research content can be deleted inside the extension. Users may request deletion of backend account information by contacting research-app@googlegroups.com.
Use of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. User data is used only to provide or support the extension's disclosed features.
